Please call us on 01985 213225 to discuss your party requirements and to confirm that the time and number of guests you require is available.
If so, a provisional booking may be taken at this time.

A deposit of £20.00 per person is required to secure your reservation with us. This deposit is non-refundable should guests cancel within 7 days of the date. If notice of non-attendance is not received, we reserve the right to charge the full amount.

The outstanding balance will be paid on 25th December 2017, together with any wine and drinks ordered on the day.
A pre-order of wine may be considered so as not to be disappointed.

Christmas Day Lunch will be served between 12pm and 2pm and the bar will be open from 11.30am until 3.30pm.
We respectfully request that guests arrange transport to leave no later than 4pm.

On Christmas Day, we can accommodate parties of up to 12 guests.
A pre-order of starter, main course and dessert is required by 14th December 2016.

Should you or anyone in your party have any allergies or specific dietary requirements, please let us know beforehand for arrangements to be made.

This menu may be subject to change dependent on the availability of ingredients. Where possible, notice will be given of any changes.

  Canapés

Prunes and gorgonzola wrapped in pancetta (GF)
Pumpernickel with salmon gravalax and beetroot (GF)
Goats cheese with red onion jam (GF & V)
Smoked mackerel paté with cranberry, lime and ginger on melba toast

Starters

Pan fried Brixham scallops with spiced parsnip purée, parsnip crisps and pomegranate
Venison and black pudding scotch egg with dressed leaves
Golden beetroot salad with blue cheese (V)

Intermediate

A tasting of Porcini soup

Main

Traditional roast turkey with goose fat roasted potatoes, chestnut stuffing, pigs in blankets, braised red cabbage,
root vegetables, Brussel sprouts and a port reduction (AGF)
Tranche of salmon with new potatoes, braised lettuce, samphire and cray fish (GF)
Pumpkin, goats cheese and fig tart with Pommes Anna, rocket and pumpkin seed salad

Desserts

Christmas pudding with brandy butter
Milk chocolate and sea-salted caramel tart with vanilla ice cream
Mulled winter fruits with cinnamon ice cream and macaroons

Filter coffee and tea with petits fours
